Why I want to help you change career

I’m Lee Cooper, “The Perfect Career Guy”. People are my passion. I have spent my working life helping people to transform their lives by achieving their career ambitions. Now I want to help you.

Most of us spend more of our waking time working, or in this pursuit of this thing we call work, than doing anything else. I know from my experience that you have all you need within you to enjoy a rewarding, fulfilling career. A career that gives you the lifestyle, the choices, the opportunities, the income, the happiness, the time, the relationships, the connections, the rewards you deserve.

I want to help you unlock your potential.

I am going to give you the inspiration, motivation, confidence, tips, tools, techniques, the secrets, the knowledge you need to achieve your perfect career.

Take Ashley.

Ashley was a newly qualified Accountant just starting out in his career. He had great potential but was working in a large Corporation with years ahead of him of working the corporate ladder to achieve his goals. As a direct result of working with The Perfect Career Guy Ashley was able to accelerate his career goals with a move straight to a Senior Management position that also saw him double his salary overnight.

And then there was Sue.

Sue was frustrated by her career choices. She had pursued a career path in purchasing and by any measure had been successful but was unhappy. She did not enjoy her job. She loved the people, she loved her team and she loved seeing them thrive. It was the day-to-day technical responsibilities in her job that were dragging her down. She wanted to make a career change. Her existing employer saw her as too valuable in her Purchasing role and wouldn’t sanction an internal move. She was stuck, demotivated, dis – engaged, frustrated. Her personal circumstances meant she could not afford to re – train if that meant the salary sacrifice that she felt it would mean.

As a direct result of working with The Perfect Career Guy, Sue was able to find a job that took her away from her day to day hands on responsibilities to a role that focused entirely on managing and developing people. She could lead, develop, inspire, and train people. She was still in Purchasing, but now working for an organisation that recognised her potential in management. She has since gone on to successfully lead the HR Operations of a major multi – national organisation. In her words “she has never looked back, has never been happier”.

What about James?

James was an 18-year-old college leaver. He didn’t want to go to University, he wanted to get his career started but was really struggling. All the companies he was approaching wanted Graduates or school leavers. He was being branded “overqualified” or “under qualified” and growing increasingly disillusioned with his chances of getting his career underway. The Perfect Career Guy was able to help him restructure his approach, to identify specific organisations consistent with his values and aspirations, to give him the tools, techniques and confidence to unlock opportunities in those organisation and as a result be offered 2 internships and 2 jobs. He took a job offer. Five years later and he is just about to launch his own business using the skills and knowledge he has acquired working for that organisation.

Let me tell you about Bill.

Bill is in his seventies. He has had an incredible career, travelled the world and has acquired a massive amount of skills, experience and knowledge. He was adamant that he did not want to retire. Yet nobody would give him a chance. All that knowledge and nobody to share it with. What a missed opportunity for so many employers! As a direct result of working with The Perfect Career Guy Bill now enjoys two part-time roles (his choice) that he ranks as being amongst the most rewarding and fulfilling in his working life.

The really important stuff to tell you is that I have been hugely fortunate to have met an inspiring wife with an incredible talent for triathlon and to have two amazing children who teach me more every day than I ever thought possible to learn.
